I have so many wonderful memories of Kathleen!
We went to lunch downtown in a hole in the wall restaurant that had really good soul-food. It was cold that day and a homeless guy had come in from the cold and was at the family style long table. Kathleen got seated before me. When i looked to find her, she’s sitting next to the homeless guy. You’d thought they knew each other. Whatever I said and/or however I looked at her, she told me to stop being a snob. I needed that experience and I’m a better person as a result of my friendship with Kathleen.
