I feel bad because this review is almost 2 years late... but not due to lack of appreciation for the lovely people who work here. I am so grateful to them for making my father's death in April 2022 much easier to bear by being so helpful, compassionate, and easy to work with. I'd NEVER had to plan a funeral. Not even a part of one. And my mom, bless her, has a fairly severe memory problem so it was mostly up to me to handle it all. But they made the process very easy! They practically held my hand as they walked me & my Mom through EVERYTHING. And they even dealt directly with the life insurance company, so we didn't have to spend a penny out of pocket! The entire process from the planning through the funeral itself couldn't have gone smoother. I don't believe anyone could find a funeral home that can top these folks! And even though I've never planned a funeral before, so I've never paid for one before either, obviously, I have heard enough about the cost of funerals to feel like the cost of Dad's funeral was very reasonable! And it was a VERY nice service, with a little luncheon afterwards. TO THE STAFF: I cannot thank you all enough for EVERYTHING, and my mom and I will always be grateful to you for helping us through what was one of... if not THE toughest time in our lives. May your business grow by leaps & bounds, & I wish you eternal success! God bless. ❤️

The Homegoing Celebration for our beloved mother Shelia Martin (on April 20, 2024) was absolutely beautiful with the help of George W. Levett, Sr. & Son’s Funeral Home! We couldn’t have asked for a better service. The staff was extremely accommodating from start to finish, taking pride in every detail…to include the tiniest details we asked of them! They were so supportive during the homegoing of my father, the late Pastor Carl H. Jones. They made sure to help us make all the decisions that would have been difficult had we done it on our own. They made sure that his homegoing was everything that we wanted for him. We are extremely grateful for everything that they did for our family.
