Willie Mae Walker-Baynes' Obituary
Willie M Walker-Baynes was born July 26, 1942, to Mr. & Mrs. A. Clifford Walker. Willie was the youngest of seven siblings. She was raised in the Flat Rock community of Lithonia Ga. Willie retired from Georgia Perimeter College in which she was employed for many years. Willie united in holy matrimony to Mr. Nathaniel Malcom Sr. on March 7, 1961. Of this union five children were born; Gwendolyn, Patricia, Zelda, Nathaniel Jr, and Wayne. Later Willie united in holy matrimony to Mr. Clifford Baynes on December 1, 2009. Willie was a loving mother, sister, wife, grandmother, and aunt who enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She loved laughter, was short and feisty, and was the life of the party. Willie had a gift of giving and would give to anyone in need. Willie went home to be with the lord on June 1, 2017. Willie was preceded in death by her parents Martha Odell and Aaron Clifford Walker, her siblings; Assie Lou, Al Dean, Janie, Lamar, AC, Charles, Jessie Lee, her husband; Nathaniel Sr, and Clifford Baynes, her son; Wayne, her daughters; Gwendolyn and Zelda and grandchild; Asley. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, a loving son Nathaniel Jr (Cheryl) Malcom, daughter Patricia Malcom, eight grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren, one great, great, grandchild, and a host or nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
