It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ms. Willie Mae Marshall on April 8, 2023.
Mrs. Willie Mary Marshall was born on January 31,1938 to the late Mr. Huron Bentford and Mrs. Verda Mae Brown Bentford in Covington, Ga. She departed this life peacefully on April 8,2023
Mrs. Willie Mary also known as "Nank" joined Peeks Chapel Baptist Church at an early age. She loved spending time with her family and going fishing and cooking. She was a devoted wife to her late husband Willie Lee Marshall.
She was also a loving mother to her children. Preceding her in death, three sisters, Dessie Davis, Jannie Bentford, Zadie Bentford; four brothers Clifford Bentford, Horace Bentford, Timothy Bentford and Johnny Bentford. Her five believed children Katherine Jefferies, Gloria Marshall, Willie Jr. Marshall, Stacey Marshall and Friedman Marshall.
Mrs. Willie Mary leaves to cherish her memories to her two sisters, Bessie Weaver, Robbie Stroud; one Aunt Mary Sue Brown; five brothers Howard Bentford, Henry Louis Bentford, Randy Bentford, Lee Bentford and Mark Bentford; five children Beverly Marshall, Stanley (Sherry) Marshall, Avery (Jennifer) Marshall, Greg Smith, Tamika Smith and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
