Willie James Grier was born in Rockdale county, Georgia on May 2, 1949 to the late Zelma Grier and Gladys L. Grier. He departed this life on October 29, 2020
James attended Macedonia Baptist church with his mother growing up, and with his dearest grandmother Mrs. Mattie Moon. James graduated from J.P. Carr High School class of 1967.
He worked for the City of Conyers for years.
Willie leaves to cherish many loving memories; his sister Rena F. Zachery, Annie R. Miller, Doris Garlington, cousins Teresa Rouhlac, nieces and nephew; Stacy Thomas, Antonio Zachery, Kimberly George, Ted Oliver, Keari Miller and a host of other relatives and friends.
