"Phenomenal Woman"
Willie Mae Donald-Anderson better known as Pee Wee was born on March 11th, 1935, to Luella Clement and Allen Connor in Honea Path South Carolina.
She was married to John Raymond Donald Jr in 1954 and to this Union was two loving daughters was born Lawanda Wardlaw and Chevelle Shute.
As Time passed, she became a single mother and later joining the workforce at General Motors. She becomes one of the first women to work in the plant she retired after 35 plus years from the plant.
Willie Mae became a member of Amity Baptist Church where she married the love of her life Richard C Anderson who preceded her in death. There she was a faithful member and served on the senior Usher board.
Willie Mae leaves to cherish her memory two daughters LaWanda Wardlaw Chevelle Shute (Marcus Shute) four grandchildren Tanisha Donald, Bianca Brooks, Devontae' Hicks and the Nakia Shute. Five great-grandchildren Brennan Donald, Brandon Donald, Kenneth Perez, Devontae' Hicks Jr. and Legend Baynes. and a host of nieces and nephews and other relatives which she loved.
Celebration of Life Services for Willie Mae Donald-Anderson will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2022, at 11:00AM. These services will be recorded and streamed live.
