Willie Clarence Anderson's Obituary
Mr. Willie C Anderson, also known as Big Willie was born in Washington GA, to the late Mr. Clarence and Mable Wallace Anderson. Clarence as he was best known attend school in Wilkes County.
Married to the love of his life Mrs. Claudia M. Anderson of 61 years, to this union four children were born, two precedes him in death, his only son Gastonia Alexander Anderson, and a daughter Annie Mae.
A truck driver for most of his life, he traveled the roads in and out of states, Spok Coat was his handle. He was a member of the Dynamite Mens Social Club, where the group focused on bringing awareness for single mothers and their families. A true pillar of the community, he consistently promoted leadership for young men and women, along with being passionate about social and political issues that affected our community. Later in life, Willie became an entrepreneur. He distributed and sold vitamins and other healthy lifestyle products to hundreds of families in Georgia. A true fan of sports, he enjoyed watching football and basketball. The most precious time was spent with his beloved family.
Once retired, he accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior under the Leadership of the late Bishop Michael Spires and Pastor Charles Smith, and devoted his time to various auxiliaries of the church. He served as an usher, parking lot attendant, bus driver, greeter, church key holder, and later ordained as a Deacon under the leadership of Bishop Timothy McKibbons. Lastly, Willie also served as treasury of the Deacon board
He is survived by his wife Claudia Mae Anderson, four daughters, Tammy Anderson, (Conyers GA) Chandra Anderson, (Stone Mountain, GA), Samantha Anderson (Conyers, GA), Denise Jackson (Newark, New Jersey). Grandchildren, Antwain (Starlette) Anderson, Tashalia Wright, Bianca Anderson, Jarius Reachell, Joey, Akia, Tyshaun, Nyjere Jackson.
Great grandchildren, McKenzie Givan, Owen Anderson, Aniya, Imera, Laron, Carel, Zyrel and Dayshaun Jackson. God daughter Tina Miller, God son Antonio Proctor, friend of the family Barbara Phillips and Gilbert Reachell. Special aunt Mrs. Doris Davis, sisters Jacqueline (Joe) Smith, Janet Andrews (Frank), Josephine Smith, Lovella Gatrell, all of Washington, GA, Fannie Anthony of Newark, New Jersey, one brother Sim Anderson. Brother-in-law Robert Hill Sr. Long time best friend Dr. Terry Reid, Special church friend Deacon Johnny Roundtree. A host of cousins, extended family, and friends.
