Walter Aaron Harris' Obituary
Mr. Walter Aaron Harris was born on March 12, 1942 to the late John Henry and Ruby Usher in Henry County, McDonough Ga. He grew up in Conyers, Ga and attended J.P. Carr School of Rockdale County. Mr. Walter joined Victory Community Church in 2011 under the leadership of Pastor Dough Nelms where he attended faithfully.
Walter worked in construction for over 50 years until his health began to fail. Even after retiring Walter was determine to stay busy by working in the community and doing yard which he greatly loved. Serving the community and others brought Walter great joy.
Walter was Preceded in death by his late parents John Henry and Ruby Usher, He leaves behind two daughters Mary Ann Hurst (Michael), Ernestine Simmions and two son Robert Smith (Shontell), Stepson Mr. Dwight Greir (Latisha), three sisters Mrs. Johnnie May Presley, Lillie Bell'a Mosley, and late Emma Harris, five brothers Calvin Harris (Gracie Mae), late James Harris, Sr, late Chester Harris, late Sammie Harris, late Willie Harris, and late George Harris.
Walter leaves a host of grandkids (24), great grandkids (33), nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives. A special companion Gloria Lumpkin of 40 years and a dear friend Jermaine Rome and one God Grandson, Clifton Jeffries
