Virginia Height's Obituary
Virginia Height was born on March 08,1943 to the late Sammie Ruth and Eugene Cornell. She was the 4th of 8 children. Preceding her in death were siblings Larry Cornell (Lilly-deceased), Adolphis Cornell, Walter Cornell, Danny Lee, Shirley Elliott. Her remaining siblings Silvia Harris (Tim), Betty Robinson (Tim). As a Conyers native, Virginia attended Georgia Academy for the Blind in Macon, Georgia. After schooling, Virginia became a top switch-board operator at the Center for the Visually Impaired until her retirement. Virginia was blessed with a daughter, Rosalind Taylor, in 1960. She was later united in holy matrimony with the late James Height, and they produced 6 beautiful children. Robin Height-Booker (& son-Rasheed Oliver; both deceased), Tamika Height (deceased), Jane Height, Ericca Height (Dee), Kimberly Height, Jonathan Height (Terri). Virginia was a member of Love and Hugs Church in Conyers, Georgia where she was ordained to be an Evangelist in 1998. Virginia had a passion for traveling, experiencing new activities, and speaking the Word of God to people through prayer. Virginia was a part of a prayer line called Love and Compassion. Virginia left behind a legacy to cherish loving memories 4 daughters and 1 son, 24 grandchildren, and a lovable number of great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends. Her memory will be adored by the many lives she touched in her 82 years and will be truly missed.
