Treina Dinah Lewis' Obituary
Treina Dinah Lewis was born to Deborah Stevens and the Late Lawrence Charles Fletcher Jr. on March 18,1967 in New Orleans, Louisiana. She was the second of three children. She was the Wife of Adolph Lewis Jr, and the mother of Tiffani Amber Lewis and Adolph Joshua "AJ" Lewis. She was the sister of Tonya Fletcher and the late Lawrence Charles III. She was the niece of Dr. Mavis Bouie, Alex Hurst, Lionel Fletcher and Dr. Linden Bowie. Also, she was the cousin of Monica Hebert and Kenny Guidry.
Treina attended McDonald 19' and William C.C. Claiborne Elementary Schools. She attended St. Mary's Academy in New Orleans, Louisiana and graduated in the class of 1985. She is a graduate of Southern University at New Orleans (SUNO), and also attended Ashford College where she earned a BA in education and a Master's degree in Special Education. Treina was a faithful member of Deliverance Baptist Church, a member and influencer of the 42nd Generation bible study group and was an active member of Ladies with A vision worldwide. Treina was always surrounded by her nieces and nephews and had a host of cousins, church family and friends. Her legacy will be forever remembered. She was a wonderful wife and mother. A devoted daughter and sister. A devoted aunt and a kind friend.
