Toshiba Shunta Finney's Obituary
Toshiba S. Finney also known as " Lady Bug " to friends and family, was born on June 13,1977. Her parents were Jo Alveta Battle and Johnny L. Barber of Macon, Ga. Toshiba grew up in Macon, Ga & graduated from Southeast High School in 1995. She went on to attend Valdosta State to continue an education in healthcare. Years later graduated from Medical Institute as a Medical Assistant and Home Healthcare Aide. Toshiba's passion was her cooking, caring for others, and being a devoted mother. To know her is to love her. Her presence was a blessing to others. Her humor and laughter were contagious. Her undeniable free spirit was felt by all that knew her. Toshiba felt peace in the kitchen. She proudly served her delicious meals to many whether she knew them or just met them. The many hours spent in the kitchen with Toshiba will be cherished forever. Toshiba was a woman of her word. If she said it, she meant it. She was a woman of determination. If she wanted it , she was getting it. Most of all, Toshiba was a woman of God first and foremost. She loved her family and friends. She continuously prayed for her family. Anything she could do to help, she was willing. Toshiba was always willing to listen and care for those she loved. Toshiba loved her some music and dancing. Her energy was unmatched and very authentic. Toshiba's love was an energy that is hard to describe. It was an experience preceded in death by her mother Jo Alveta Battle , Dorothy P. Williams , and Betty Lois P. Harris She leaves to cherish her fondest memories of her precious four children Tia Finney, Tamara Finney, Ty'Dorian Nelson, and Ty'rek Kilpatrick Jr., her (Brother) Joelyn L. Battle , (Devoted partner) Terico Kilpatrick, (Aunt) Barbara P. Douglas, (Former spouse) Reginald T. Finney, and a host of family and friends.
Celebration of Life Services for Toshiba Finney will be held on Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at 11AM. These services will be recorded and streamed live.
