Thelma Louise Jenkins' Obituary
Mrs. Thelma Lois Pitts Jenkins, was born in Conyers, Georgia to Mrs. Juanita Chancey and Mr. Lilious Pitts. She joined the Flat Rock A.M.E. Church at an early age. Thelma were married to the late Mr. Sterling Jenkins, who preceded her in death. Also preceded her in death one sister Bernice Pitts, and her parents Lilious and Juanita Pitts. Thelma graduated from Rockdale High School June 1971. Thelma were employed by Marshall Warehouse in Lithonia, Georgia, She were also employed at Gates as a fork lifter driver. Thelma became an entrepreneur opening her own day care center, she loved the children and the parent was very fond of her. Thelma lived 64 years with joy, despair, hope and love. She loved nothing more than to be with her family and friends, she loved cooking, Thelma's Smile was contagious and she had a sweet spirit. Our beloved Thelma (Sally) made her transition from this earthy home to her heavenly home Wednesday, August 23, 2017, she is now resting in peace with her Lord and Savior. those who cherish her memories are her two sons Mr. Vincent Jenkins of Decatur, Ga. Mr. Raymund (Charnale) Moore of Rex, Ga. Three brothers Mr. Norman (Carole) Pitts, Mr. Howard Pitts, Sylvester Pitts, all of Conyers, Ga. six grandchildren Brian Jr. london Echols, Hailey Reese, Kameron Moore, Dontavious Spearman and Dakari Jenkins,two brother-in-laws Knneth Jenkins, Mell Whitening, two nieces April Thurman, Richanda Thurman, six nephews, Christopher Giles, Jimmy Giles, Robert Thurman, Jataviou Daniel, Tyrai Smith and Bernard Reed, Friends Mrs. Evelyn Montgomery, Mrs, Janice Robertson, Alberta Shumake.
