Thavian Shenard Ford, Sr.'s Obituary
Thavian Shenard Ford Sr. was born 05/06/1975 in Savannah Ga. to the proud parents of Ronnie and Sally Ford. He transitioned this life 08/07/2024. He was raised in Hardeeville South Carolina and accepted Christ at an early age. He received his formal education in South Carolina school system. He also attended Savannah College and played football. After college he became an entrepreneur starting several businesses with the first one being his trucking company Carolina Transportation & Security Services, Carolina Property Management & Development, Big Kountry Real Southern Kitchen, His Nonprofit Organization Reach One Teach One. While also working in construction under the guidance of his father Ronnie Ford, Etc. He Loved to cook and put a smile on people faces. "A JACK OF ALL TRADES!" as he would call it, or "IT AIN'T NOTHING I CAN'T DO!"
Thavian S. Ford Sr. met Porsche K. Duncan in February of 2011 in Atlanta. They later Moved to Atlanta August of 2014 and soon married August 15, 2015, where they started their family with their intelligent son's Thavian Shenard Ford Jr. born 03/20/2016 and Caden Shenard Ford 10/17/2022. He was an extraordinary man at everything he did. People often describe him a warm gentle giant also known as Chump, Carolina, Big Papa, or Big Kountry. He helped and supported anyone he could, providing jobs, food, shelter, home repairs, car repairs, lawn care, etc. sometimes asking for nothing in return. Thavian could light up a room or cheer up a person's day with laughter, cracking jokes, humor, love, and smile. He loved traveling with his beautiful wife and children whom he adored more than anything. He was crazy about anything that had to do with racing entertainment sports. The 49ERS were his favorite team. He often talked mess with his cousins and friends about many sports or doing handy jobs. What a wonderful, kindhearted compassionate man he demonstrated. Because of his unwavering love and support to family, and friends, he was no stranger to people he met on a daily. Thavian would greatly be missed by ALL. But his legacy can and will live on through us.

Willis of New Jersey; The baby of three girls: Genell Ford Moyd of Myrtle Beach SC.; Mother N-Law: Selina Thomas Ross; Sister-N-Law: Chloee Blue of Chattanooga TN.; Sister-N-Law: Chauntel Thomas (Corey) Smith of Dallas, GA.; Goddaughter: Maria Delia Hutchinson of Maryland; Godmother's: Ruth Ford, Rebecca Brown of Hardeeville, SC; Godbrother's: Craig Bellamy, Alan (Lisa) Jenkins of Atlanta GA.; Godsister: Misti Nash of Chattanooga TN.; and a host of uncles, Aunts, Nephews, Nieces, Cousins and Friends.
