Thad Olivia Parham's Obituary
Thad Parham was born May 19, 1938 in Alberta Virginia to the late JamesWilliams Sir and Jennie Tucker. She was raised by her grandparents the lateLem Tucker and Mattie Tucker. She accepted Christ early on in life at Little ZionRzua Church in Alberta, VA. She attended school in Alberta; she graduated fromJames Solomon Russell High School. After graduation she married her HighSchool sweetheart Lawyer W.Parham Sr. and she relocated to Westfield NewJersey where she started her own family.
"Thaddi boo", as she was fondly called, worked at Custom Molders and MorrisUnion bus company for several years. She was a member of Bethel BaptistChurch, and of 6th Street Baptist church where she served on the deacon board.Later in life she relocated to Georgia and became a member of Bennett UnionBaptist church. In 2007 she moved to Atlanta, Georgia with her daughter Patriciawhere she spent the rest of her life.
Thad was a God fearing woman who was the epitome of a wife, mother andhomemaker. She believed in keeping things decent and in order. She loved tocook; she will truly be missed for her fried apples, homemade pies, chicken anddumplings and stuffing. She also loved to care for children, she did foster care formany years, and she also babysat children. She also enjoyed listening to hergospel music, watching Saturday night church sermons, and spending time withfamily.
Thad is preceded in death by her son Lawyer Parham Jr, grand child SenoraShaiLove Parham; as well as other family members including sisters, brothers,aunts, uncles and cousins. She leaves to cherish memories of love, wisdom andlaughter; her children Patrica Johnson, Anthony Parham (Nicki), HakiemParham, and Dorthoy Snipes. Her beloved grandchildren Tanisha Johnson,Chantel Johnson-Render, Lamarcus Render, Anthony Parham, Malik Parham,Jonathan Snipes, Jayshawn Mangram, Tanisha Howard and Aspen Adams.Great grandchildren Zarayah Johnson, Chayla Render, Makayla Howard andJeremiah Howard. Thad also leaves to cherish memories of her siblings JamesWilliams Jr,, Grace Williams, Tommy Williams, Edna Duston, Annie Ross, JoyceAllen Pretlow, Cynthia Allen Hardy (James), Reverend Ronald Allen Sr (Sharon),Reverend Edward Allen Sr (Doris). She also leaves her Aunt Alice Proctor. Shetouched the hearts of many lives including friends, family, extended family andco-workers.
