Obituary "I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.....II Timothy 4:7 An amazing little boy shined his light into the life of the late Mr. Herman and Hester Mitchell with the birth of their baby boy, Terry Lee Mitchell on Wednesday, July 2, 1958. Terry was called home to rest from his labor Sunday, July 24, 2016. Terry was preceded in death by his parents Mr. Herman and Hester Mitchell, a sister Betty Lee Mitchell a dear aunt (a mother figure) Pearl Webb. Terry was educated in the Rockdale County System where he graduated from Rockdale County High School in 1977. He had a great sense of humor and loved to tell jokes and have fun. He was a great father, grandfather, loving brother, uncle, brother-in-law and an amazing friends; He enjoyed life everyday as if it was he's last and loved music and dancing. During his years of employment, he worked for Lithonia Lighting, City of Covington, Golden State Foods and Becdon. He was known to be a hard worker, who had a strong will and a strong desire for life.
Terry leaves to cherish his precious memories, his daughter Ms. Sheree (Shantale) Carter, his grandson Mr. Jesse Rodriques (JR) Carter, his siblings: Mr. and Mrs. Robert "Lurch" Mitchell (Larsena), Mr. and Mrs. Charles "Scew" Mitchell (Sadie), Mr. and Mrs. Herman Mitchell (Lizzie), Mr. Milton Jenkins, and Mr. Leon Jenkins, his nieces Ms. Chandra Wilson and Ms. Titania Wilson, his nephews Charlton Rashan (Shun) Mitchell and Mr. Brandon Oglesby; and a host of other relatives and dear friends
