Sylvester Pitts' Obituary
Mr. Sylvester (Dusty) Pitts was born on June 13th 1948 to the late Lillious and Juanita Pitts in Newton, County Georgia.
He attended J.P. Carr school.
Sylvester gave his life to God at an early age, when he joined First Shady Grove Baptist Church, Conyers, Ga.
Sylvester enjoyed doing mechanical work, spending time with family and friends. He was loved by many and known to everyone as uncle Vest or Dusty.
He preceded in death by his two sister Bernice Pitts, Thelma Jenkins. Two brother Theodore Pitts, Howard Pitts, two nieces Delonda Pitts, April Thurman and one granddaughter Pa'trynce Franklin.
Sylvester leaves to cherish his memories three children Sylvester Reid, Felicia Franklin and Steven Goolsby, six grandchildren Dewanta Franklin, Jaquashia Victor, Sharia Franklin, Natasha Johnson, Felicity Franklin, Azaria Davenport, Eight Great grandchildren, one devoted brother Norman Pitts (Carol), Lifetime friends; Sterling Bryant, JoAnn Whitner, Charles Cowan, Julia Franklin, Agnes Smith, Cedric Shepherd, Kenny Moore, Willie Cosby, Shakeita Gaither, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Special dedication to his nieces and nephews Ornita Pitts, Lajarvis McGilberry, Lajarvis Pitts for caring for him in his time of needs.
