Shirley joined Bentley Hill UMC at an early age.
Shirley passed away on April 7, 2022. She is preceded in death by her loving son, Dion Walker, her devoted parents Eddie and Sally Thomas, Sr., her brother Rev. Eddie (Spook) Thomas and Kenny Thomas.
Shirley is gone but not forgotten, she leaves to cherish her memories, her sons, George (Marisa) Albert Jr., Eddie (LaTeshia) Albert, Darrin (Barbara) Mark Walker, Morris Walker, Johnny (Angela) Turner, Sandra (Kenny) Roseberry; 2 cousins, Pamela George and Dwayne George; 4 sisters, Mattie Ruth Walker, Delores Thomas, Josie Mays, Betty Jean McMullen; 3 Aunts, Nina Hartsfield, Henryetta Grier, Mamie Turner; Devoted friend, Sandra Anderson; 21 grandchildren and 39 great grandchildren
