Sara S. Clark - Norwood was born on March 31, 1930 in Newton, County, Georgia to Mr. Willie Smith and Ms. Ora Cochran. Sara attended Washington Street School. She gave her life to Christ at a very early age. Sara met and married Mr. James Clark, and from this union two children born, Larry Clark and Melvin Clark, Later in life she married Mr.Herbert (Pap) Norwood and from this union four more children were born, Jimmy, Almetha, Micheal and Vincent Norwood Sara was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Ora Smith, one brother B. (Horace) Smith, three sisters, Willie Pearl Foster, Johnnie Mae Gilstrap, and Margaret Giles, and two children, Jimmy O. Norwood and Almetha Norwood. Sara leaves to cherish her precious memories; four sons, Larry J Clark, Deacon Melvin Clark, Micheal L. Norwood, and Vincent (Sherrel)Norwood, one sister, Ms. Ocie Franklin; one brother, Mr. Billy (Earnestine) Smith; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
