SANDRA AGNES (HARLOW) HIGHTOWER OBITUARY
Sandra Agnes (Harlow) Hightower, GRAYSON, GA - Sandra Hightower, formerly of Syracuse, NY, passed away Friday, August 19, 2022, in Grayson, GA at the age of 81. Sandra known to many as "Sonie" and "Honey" was surrounded by family and supported by well wishes from countless family members and friends from all over in the days leading up to her peaceful passing. Sandra is rejoicing in heaven with her parents, Franklin and Virginia Harlow, sister, Delphine Harlow, brother, Franklin "Butch" Harlow Jr., and granddaughter, Sabreen Janel Bullock. Sandra was born on March 31, 1941, in Syracuse, NY, she was a lifelong devoted Catholic who worshiped faithfully at The Cathedral of Immaculate Conception, Syracuse, NY. She attended Syracuse Public Schools and St Lucy's Catholic School as a young girl. She later met her loving, devoted husband Calvin and they were married. Sandra placed a high value on family providing love, dedication, kindness, respect and happiness - all characteristics that defined Sandra throughout her life. She was previously employed by Rollway Bearing and with her husband they owned and operated The Hightower Lounge where she was referred to as Ms. Hymie for her sophistication and love for the community. Sandra was a devoted and loving wife to her husband for 62 years, cherished and loved her children and grandchildren. She leaves behind her husband, Calvin; children, Taressa Hightower of Grayson, GA; Calvin "Dino" Hightower III (Cassandra), of Monroe, GA and Cheryl Frazier-Hightower of Hayward, CA; nine grandchildren, Ajeenah Bullock-Wright (Richard), Courtney Bruett (Cameron), Jasmin Moore (Thomas), Nikki, Calvin "Callen", IV and Jordan Hightower, Rodney (Jamila), Ricky and Tony Wooley; twelve great-grandchildren, Nykel Floyd, Najah Bullock, Richard "RJ" Wright, Jr., Calvin "Micah" Hightower, V, Aisla and Lincoln Bruett, Kennedy Dudley, Skylar and Tomi Moore, Daron, Nikaila and Elias Wooley; nine siblings, Priscilla Williams of Syracuse, NY; Pamela Harlow (Vinnie) of Brooklyn, NY, Howard Harlow (Bettye) of Atlanta, GA, Phillip Harlow (Ruby) of Pittsford, NY, Sirena Allen (Greg), Algonquin, IL, Carmen Harlow (Joanne) of Syracuse, NY, Craig Harlow (Lucille) of Riverdale, GA, Bridget Harlow of Union City, GA, Loren Harlow (Sandra) of Riverdale, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
