Samuel Eugene Harris Sr.'s Obituary
Sammy Harris Sr. was born on August 15, 1943 to the late John Henry Harris and Ruby Lee Usher Harris, of Conyers, GA.
He was called to be with the Lord on May 20, 2020 at Piedmont Rockdale Hospital. He was preceded in death by four bothers and one sister.
At an early age, Sammy joined the New Hope Baptist Church in Conyers, GA. Later he became a member of Kelly Chapel Baptist Church under the leadership of Grady Head, Reverend Keith Richardson is the current pastor.
Sam was united in holy matrimony to Mrs. Burnette Harris on October 14, 1965. He was a dedicated worker for 33 years at Kyser Warren Refrigeration.
He loved sports, yard work, cooking on the. He loved spending time and spreading his love to his family.
He leaves to cherish precious memories with wife: Burnette Harris; children: Sammy Harris, Jr. (Anna), Jeffery Harris (Daniella) Sandra Lisa Ann Harris, and Joyce Patterson (Mary Ammons); 12 Grandchildren; 6 Great-Grandchildren; two brothers: Calvin Harris (Gracie) and Walter Harris; two sisters: Johnnie Mae Presley (Marvin) and Lillie Mosley; Brother-In-Law: Willie J. Dodson (Lurlene); Special Friend: Lucius Branch; all of the Christian Circle Neighbors; and a host of other relatives and friends.
