Sally M Estes' Obituary
Sally Estes, age 92 passed away on Monday February 27, 2017. She was born on July 4, 1924 in Americus, Georgia, to Lewis and Cora Mapp, she was a longtime resident of Richmond, Tx. She moved back to her home of Georgia in 1999 to be with her mother and siblings. She was united in marriage to Jacob L Estes Jr. she volunteered as a WAC in World War II, she worked as a Caregiver, later she open her own place of business. After moving back to Georgia, she joined Macedonia Baptist Church in 1999 under the leadership of Pastor Larry Spurlock, she was a faithful member until her death. Proceeded in death her parents Mr. & Mrs. Lewis Mapp, Son, Billy Matthews Estes, her siblings, Lewis James Mapp, Wilson Mapp Sr. Willie James Mapp, Katherine Lee-Wagner. she leaves to mourn her memories two daughter Vivian Estes of Conyers, Valerie Estes of Kendleton, TX, one son Eugene Estes, of Richmond Tx. One sister, Irene Mapp, three grandsons, Gerard Scranton(Rachel), of Texas, Michael A Neal,of Texas, Cerdick E. Estes of Virginia, five great grand children and a host nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
