Sallie Hayes' Obituary
Sallie Hattie Lois Hayes at the age of 81 gained her wings on July 10, 2024. She was born to Walker and Ollie Mae Glover. She was a quiet sweet young girl when she joined Summer Hill Baptist Church. She later became an usher and served faithfully over 40 years until she was no longer able to attend church. Summer Hill was also the place where she met Leroy Hayes her soul mate. They got married and she devoted her life to her husband and children. They had six children: Leroy Hayes Jr, Toney Hayes, Shelia Sewell, Ronald O'Neal Hayes, Charlotte (Charles) Thrasher & Randy Hayes. She also leaves behind three sisters: Willie Eva Leslie, Ruby Saffo and Gloria Starr, two brothers: Claude and Eddie Glover. She has twelve grandchildren, two great grand and a host of nieces and nephews.
