Salathia Josa' Kimble's Obituary
Salathia Josa' Kimble was born January 5, 1960. She was the daughter of the late Mr. Willie Wimbush and late Mrs. Elaine Wimbush. Salathia attended Bethune Elementary School, Kennedy Middle School and Graduated from Murphy High School in 1978. Upon completion of high school Salathia attended Dekalb College, after attending Dekalb college Salathia was employed by Dekalb Medical hospital as a Nurse Assistant. Salathia was later employed by The internal Revenue Service in 1985 where she became a Tax Examiner until her retirement in 1991. Salathia became a member of Mount Gilead Baptist Church at a young age where she was baptized by the late Rev. Edward Hall. Salathia was a devoted member of the Eveready Youth Choir. after leaving Mount Gilead Baptist Church she attended Christ Tabernacle Church of God in Christ for many years under the direction of Bishop Spencer Lackey Sr. , later in life Salathia joined Gathering the Harvest Ministries under Apostle Yolanda Taylor. After a lengthy illness Salathia was called home on january 16, 2018 at The new London Nursing Home. Preceding her in death was one daughter Ashley Brianna Kimble and one brother Huelett Eugene Roberts, Salathia leaves to cherish two sisters Mr. and Mrs. Gregory Zachary(Phadra), and Ms. Celeste Berry, Two nieces Fayita Roberts, Crystal Jones; Two nephews Willie Jones Jr.; Christopher Jones; one great nephew Jordan Cash, one God Son Jason Berry, A very special cousin Ms. Angela Hargrove and a host of other family and friends.
