Rameil Anthony Bennett's Obituary
Rameil Anthony Bennett was born in Racine, WI to Demetria Nicole Johnson and Philip Anthony Bennett on October 17, 1995. From the moment he was born his mature and independent personality would light up the room and he never had a problem making his presence known. He enjoyed football, boxing, watching movies on his birthday and volunteering with Josea Williams Feed the Hungry in Atlanta, GA. As a big brother, he was very close to Rachard and it seemed at times that they understood and needed each other on a deeper level than most brotherly relationships. Despite his age difference with his little brother Ryan they were also close and made memories that will last forever. Rameil was his mother's "rock" and he helped take care of the house and his little brothers. He was the "handy-man" and enjoyed fixing things. He attended Horlick High School in Racine, WI and Shiloh High School in Snellville, GA. He graduated from the Youth Challenge Academy in Albany, GA in 2013.
Rameil is survived by his mother Demetria Johnson and his father Philip (Heidi) Bennett. Left to cherish his memory with his mother, father and God-mother Darishawn Hodges are his Siblings; Rachard Bennett, Ryan Johnson-Palmer, Anthony, Asia and Alani Bennett, Tyra Allen and Shaneesa Morton. Grandparents; Walter (Twylight) Hunter, Denise Coronado, Philip (Cindi) Bennett Jr., Aunts and Uncles; Demetrius (Tara) Johnson, Taneka and Brandy Ellis, Ardie Thomas, Wesley Hunter, Brad Zinn, Paula Harrell, Steve (Venicia) Bennett, Latrica (Cortez) Grayson, Toni Lagrone, Monique (Eric) Bennett-Allen, Regina Bennett. Along with a host of great-aunts and uncles, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother Jacqueline Johnson, great-grandparents Willie Sr. and Annie McDonald, LC McClemore, and Clara Lagrone.
Taken much too soon, Rameil will be missed and his memory will be cherished forever by his family, friends and all who knew him.
