Phyra Kay Stevens- Hargett's Obituary
Phyra Kay (Stevens) Hargett, age 70 of Lithonia, Ga died Monday October 24, 2016 at home after a long illness. Mrs. Hargett was born in Pennsylvania on August 29, 1946, daughter of the late Vivian and Robert Noll. She grew up in Waynesboro, Pa and graduated from Waynesboro area high school in 1964. After marrying she and her husband Richard relocated to Lithonia, GA. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church of the Resurrection Church in Conyers, GA. She retired in 2009 from Golden Living Center located in Conyers, Ga where she was a Billing Coordinator. She enjoyed reading, people, and spending time with her grandchildren. Any person that met her soon became her friend. Surviving is her husband Richard Hargett of the home, daughter Nicole Mowen (Waynesboro,Pa ). Son Aaron Hargett(Buford, Ga). She is also survived by two brothers, Garnet Stevens and wife Sandy Stevens (Mercersburg, Pa) , Ray Stevens (Martinsburg,WV), one sister, Patricia Miller and husband Carroll ( McSherrystown, Pa) 2 grandsons, Joshua Elie and Andrew Minnich ( Hagerstown, MD), 1 Granddaughter, Shyla Hargett ( Sugar Hill) 3 nieces and 3 nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Lynda Miller and nephew Garnet Stevens II In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation in her honor.
