Patricia, affectionately called Patsy migrated from Jamaica to the US in 1991. She resided in New York for a few years & then relocated to Georgia in 1998.
Patsy was a very hard working, vibrant, ambitious, generous, kind hearted, fun loving & welcoming individual. She was a self-employed/entrepreneur in Jamaica & travelled to several countries such as Curacao, Grand Cayman, Haiti & Panama to conduct business. She worked in several different areas here in the US including that of a CAN & no job was too small or large for her to tackle. She did whatever she could to make a honest living to provide for her children.
She had a way with words & did not hold back on saying what was on her mind, but her bark was actually much more effective than her bite. In other words, she was like toothless lion & a humble soul.
Patsy was a very elegant, meticulous, immaculate lady who had a keen eye for fashion, & was always dressed to impress. She loved nice things & always thrive to acquire the finer thigs in life. Nothing was too good or expensive to offer to others & some would often take her kindness for weakness
Patsy was a very outgoing, vivacious, fun loving individual that went above & beyond & left no stones unturned in achieving her goals. Her Hobby was shopping & because her illness inhibited her mobility, she was always glued to the shopping network TV channels. Whatever Patsy wanted, she got (fly high or low). She was well known by every UPS, DHL, Fedex & US postal service delivery personnel
Her motto was "GO BIG or go home"
Patsy was very domesticated & took extreme pride & pleasure in ensuring that her surrounding was always spic & span! Her pet peeve was untidiness & dinginess. If the saying: Cleanliness is next to Godliness is true, rest assure that Patsy is in the arms of God at this moment & will forever remain there. Patsy never learnt to drive nor possessed a driver license but was the greatest second hand driver. Her daughter Curien & others would often get annoyed with her for dictating their routes, but have to agree that their final destinations were on point & in record time.
Patsy succumbed to her illness on the morning of May 4th 20218 & died in her sleep in the comfort of her home lovely home. How ironic it is for her to have died on her granddaughter Crystal birthday, & to be laid to rest on her grandson Ricardo & nephew Beron birthday.
She was a dedicated mother, grandmother daughter, sister aunt & friend.
Gone but NEVER forgotten
SLEEP IN PEACE my angel!!
