He is proceeded in death by his parents, two brothers Mr. Willie Ponder, Mr. Charlie Frank Ponder.
He is survived by his children: Suzanne Ponder, Eddie J. Ponder, Dorothy Ann Ponder (Williams); four grandchildren; Antonio Ponder, Kanika Montgomery, Jessica Ponder (Wiggins) and Ada Ponder. Brothers-Mr. Johnny B. Ponder, and Minister Gary Ponder. Four Sisters-Annie Lee Ponder, Dorothy Ponder (Smith), Mary Ann Ponder (Franklin) and Louise Ponder and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
