MILTON SHERON LAWSON's Obituary
It is with much sadness that we announce the passing of Milton Sheron Lawson.
Milton Sheron Lawson, Sr, was born February 5, 1953, in Mobile, Alabama to Eula C. Lawson and Lionel B. Lawson. Milton was raised in Grand Bay Alabama in his early years before later moving to Cleveland, Ohio. Milton would join the US Army to faithfully serve his country during the Vietnam War era before returning to Ohio and becoming a police officer for the City of Cleveland’s 4th District where he served his community faithfully for over 20 years. Milton was an avid reader, he loved to cook, travel, and work with his hands doing everything from carpentry to mechanic work. He had a loving heart and giving spirit to all he came across and therefore never truly knew a stranger.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sisters Linda Lawson, Gene Davis (Oscar), and brothers Calvin Fountain and Benjamin Lawson. He is survived by his wife Viola, his children Stetisha Shannon, LaSomanic Lawson Walker, Milton S Lawson II, Sheronda McKinley, D’Andrew Young, and Jerrod Lawson, his sisters Bessie and Emlyn Lawson, adopted siblings Janice and Dan, a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family, friends, colleagues, and neighbors who hold him in cherished memory.
