The Life of Milton Milton Gilbert was born on November 16,1966 to the Late John W Gilbert Sr and Late Dorothy Holden Gilbert. Milton was known by many as "Milt" and "Clyde". He attended CJ Hicks School and Graduated from Rockdale County High School Class of 1985. Milton took on work at Safehouse in Conyers but was best known as the local "DJ Clyde". Milton was given the name of "20 over the fence" by Rockdale Recreation for all his home runs and pitching, Milton was always building box speakers, spending time with family and friends and was good with his hands but his ability to always put others before himself was something special. Milton was a fan of the Georgia Bulldogs and the Atlanta Braves. On Sunday, December 15, 2024, Milton's earthly life ended in Metter, GA. He was preceded in death by both parents; Brothers: John Gilbert Jr, Roosevelt Gilbert and Donald Gilbert. Milton leaves to cherish his loving memories: Wife Nicoll Gilbert of Metter, GA, whom he was married to for 8 years. Stepsons: Thomas (Joy) Tremble of Statesboro, GA and Quincy Holman of Metter, Ga. Granddaughter Harmonie Tremble. Moher-in-law Kay Meridy of Metter, GA. Brother Willie Robert (Marilyn) Gilbert Sr. Nephews Bernard (Kanesha) Gilbert, Willie Robert Gilbert Jr, Courtney Gilbert, Roosevelt D. Gilbert and Cornelius (Twyla) Gilbert. A host of many other loving relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.
