Mary Jane Stellerine's Obituary
Mary Jane Stellerine, 79, of Covington, GA passed away January 30 2019 of Congestive Heart Failure at Magnolia Hospice House in Conyers GA.
Mary Jane was born in Trenton, New Jersey on January 9 1940 to Walter Irving Conklin and Myrtle Dorothy Webb-Conklin. She was the 5th child of 6. She was married to Natale A Stellerine on Apr 22 1961 and later gave birth to her two children, Donna and Natale Jr. She was a wonderful mother and was fully involved in her children's lives. She became President of the organization of Tonettes at St. Anthony's Catholic Church where she showed her considerable talent in Arts and Crafts. She enrolled Donna in Tonettes and Natale Jr. in Boy Scouts. She was always proud of her children's achievements.
Mary Jane Moved her family to Lake Havasu City, AZ. in 1978. She was a dispatcher at the Mohave Sheriff's Office, and later was hired on at the Lake Havasu Police and Fire Department where she was the second dispatcher hired at the station, and known on the radio as "Charlie 2". She was employed at the Lake Havasu City Police department from August 15 1979 to September 15 1999, where she was the first officer to retire from the department.
During her career, she received numerous Certificates of Achievement. She was highly thought of at the department and was referred to as "MJ" by those who knew her and loved her.
Mary Jane is survived by her brother Bob Conklin, sister Eileen Papp, sister-in-law Carol Conklin, cousin Dennis Webb, her daughter Donna Keenan and husband Terry, her son Natale A Stellerine Jr. and wife Andrea, grandchildren Troy Patterson and wife Ashley, Courtney Stellerine and Joshua Stellerine, and three great-grandchildren. She also has many wonderful friends including Doris Cleary in Trenton, Louann Leon and Betty Donahue both in Lake Havasu City.
She is predeceased by sisters Charlotte Olex and Patricia Brozena, brother Ronald Conklin, and ex-husband Natale A Stellerine Sr.
Mary Jane will be taken to Trenton New Jersey where she will have services performed and placed to rest at a later date at Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetary and Mausoleum.
