Mary Louise accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Bald Rock Baptist Church. She received her formal education in the Rockdale County Public School system. Mary Louise was a graduate of JP Carr High School. In 1967, she married Artis Hayes.
Mary Louise Hayes departed this life on Friday, September 10, 2021. She was preceded in death by her father George Penn, mother Novella Penn, her husband and brothers George Penn, Sylvester Penn, Eddie Penn, and Horacious Penn.
She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter Teresa (Ervin) Roseberry, son Marshallawn Hayes; four grandchildren Christopher, Octavious, Kiondra, Devonte, Jordan, and Khamani; six great grandchildren. She also leaves 5 sisters Queenie, Rosetta, Marie, Betty, and Patricia; 3 brothers James (Harper), Johnny, and Kenneth; and a host of nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.ry
