Mary Leverett Garnett's Obituary
Mrs. Garnett was born in Matthews, Georgia but was a native of Richmond/Columbia County. A distinguished graduate of Lucy C. Laney night school program in 1967 and a retired dietary foreman for the VA Medical Center (Uptown). She was a dedicated member of Olive Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Appling, Ga.
She leaves to cherish her memories forever, her beloved daughters, Rhonda (Keith) Mays and Jackie L. (Isaac) Bostick; two stepdaughters, Ne'Quan (Patrick) Searles and Tangee Garnett; Bonus children: Suenitta Wells, Marquail Leverett, Derrick Monk, Juanita (James) Sturgis, Jimmy (Edwina) Maryland, and Thomas (Maryland) Leverett; Grandchildren, Isaac Bostick, II and Joshua Doggett; Godchild, Takera Cox, other bonus children and grandchildren, a host of other relatives and friends
Mrs. Mary Leverett Garnett went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, February 10, 2022, at her residence. Graveside services with social distancing will be Saturday, February 19, 2022 @ noon at Olive Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 6227 Columbia Road, Appling, GA 30802. Public viewing Friday, February 18, 2022, from 1-6 pm at Williams Funeral Home, 2945 Old Tobacco Road, Hephzibah, GA 30815. The family will receive friends between the hours of 4-6 pm. Masks are required to attend the service and viewing.
