Louise Lester Barfield's Obituary
Louise was born on January 6, 1947; to the Late Henry and Mary Lou Lester. She was the youngest of five (5) children. Louise was married to the Late Edward F. Barfield, Sr. During their union Louise and Ed shared many years together until his passing in 1990. She departed this life peacefully on Thursday, October 18th at Piedmont Atlanta.
She was proceeded in Death by: Her parents Henry and Mary Lester; siblings: Charlie Benton; Dorothy Gilbert; Myrtis Bailey; James Peek and Brother in Law Willie "Frank" Barfield.
Louise attended JP Carr School. She joined Macedonia Baptist Church at an early age. She enjoyed watching Westerns; every episode of Walker Texas Ranger and In the Heat of the Night.
Louise is survived by her two Children: Jacqueline D. Lester and Edward F. Barfield, Jr.; Grandchildren: Jamara (Sha'Toyus) Brown; Jerard (Victoria) Lester and Nastasha Lester; Great-Grandchildren: LaVontae; Saniyah, De'Von, Ah'Yanna, Laila and Kington. Louise had a very special Cousin Charlotte Jones; special Nieces: Pamela Peek; LaToya Peek and Takino Burtts; a Special Friend: Annie Ruth Bailey; Sister and Brother in Laws: Annie Woods; Charlotte Barfield; Harold (Sherrel) Barfield; Carolyn Roulhac; Bennie Barfield, Jr.; Sylvia (Stanley) Hayes and David Barfield and a host of Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.
