Louis Alphonse Armano's Obituary
Louis Alphonse Armano was born on February 27, 1950 in Poughkeepsie N.Y to Rose and Louis (Babe) Armano. He was the first born with two sisters, Peggy & Kaye. He was the first of many grandchildren of Phillip and Mary Polillo of Haddonfield New Jersey. Louis attended Christ the King grade school for a few years than transferred to Haddonfield public schools and later attended Haddonfield Memorial High school and was of the class of 1968. Growing up there he played little league baseball and played football in high school as well as played trumpet in the band. Lou began to use his talented mechanical skills early as he learned how to work on lawnmowers from Press Morgan. Louis Armano attended Camden County Vocational School for Auto Repair & Engineering. He also went on to receive many boiler and maintenance seals in engineering. His first job was at Kingsway Cab in Haddonfield where he was both a taxicab driver and auto mechanic. Louis moved to Cherry Hill NJ in the mid 70's and joined the Erlton Fire Company and continued there into the early 1980's. Louis Armano was the owner of a home security company, at the same time worked as a building engineer and also repaired the delivery trucks at Forrest Laundry in Cherry Hill NJ. Louis became a proud uncle to Kenny his little sister's son. Louis education and experience brought him to U.S Uniform Philadelphia. In 1984 he met his best friend Izora Ferguson who became the love of his life and wife on November 13, 1994. They became Louis & Izora Armano and father of Dora, Dell, Tessie, Terry, Tine, Moop, Boo, esh .Louis and his family resided in Cherry Hill, NJ (93-99)As his experience and knowledge broaden he was offered a job position to run two plants that serviced many of the restaurant linens for NYC, there he moved to beautiful home in Poughkeepsie NY. where family and friends gathered for years. Louis last traveling adventure resided him in Conyers Ga., with his wife and his family close by. Louis Armano was a wonderful person to everyone that knew him; he loved his family with every beat of his heart. Of his untimely death he was still strong minded and heavy hearted to the end.
