Lonnell Michael Sutton passed away on March 17, 2018 in Atlanta, Georgia after a brief illness. Lonnell M. Sutton was born January 28, 1950 in St. Louis, Missouri to Lula Bell Joyce and Eddie Manuel. Lonnell served in the United States Army. He studied at General Motors Institute. Lonnell expaneded his love for cars specifically retro model cars by working for Classic Collison in Decatur, Georgia. Lonnell also enjoyed sports, His favorite Football team was the Atlanta Falcons! In Lonnell's leisure time he enjoyed watching Western movies and fishing Perhaps most notable was Lonnell's love of contemporary jazz music .
He love spending time with his family and family friend's. He always imparted his quick wit, charisma, and words of wisdom to those he loved. Lonnell was preceded in death by his mother Lula Bell Joyce; brother Willie David Melton; and sister Phyllis Denise Joyce. He leaves to cherish wonderful memories to Mari Sutton; Children: Garrett T. M. Sutton, Micah T. L. Sutton, and Michelle Collier all if Atlanta , GA. Grandchildren: Albert K. Demps, III, Mikal T. T. Demps, and twins Ava D. & Matthew R. Demps Siblings: Sandra V. Garden (Ridge Manor, FL), Richard Melton (Dallas, Texas), Audrey Johnson (Atlanta, GA) , and Marilyn Joyce (Killeen, Texas). And a whole host of beloved Nephews, Nieces, and friends Lonnell loved his family dearly and was especially proud of his children and grandchildren. Later in Lonnell's life he displayed his pride in his beliefs as a Christian. Lonnell's transition was made that much more peaceful in his pride and love for The Almighty Father
