Linda Regina Slater's Obituary
Linda Regina Slater was born on February 25, 1948 to the late Curtis and Louis Richardson in Washington, DC. She was one of five children: Tyrone Richardson (preceded in death February 4, 2018) (Gwen Richardson), Curtis Richardson, Pamela Richardson (preceded in death), Carolyn Waters (Edward Waters). Linda was educated in the Philadelphia school system and graduated from Simon Gratz High School in 1966. She worked for over 20 years in the medical field. she took care of her mother in the latter part of he life. Linda married Willie Slater III, on November 9, 1968.Through this union, they had four children: Eric "Chip" (Cassandra Slater), Monique "Nick" (Robert Gramby), Willie "Chad" (Tynesha Slater), Christopher (Nakeysha Slater); nine grandchildren: Kiana (Rico Collier), Kandis, Kyra, Malik, Teirra, Talia, Aysia, Chase, and Gavins;and four great-grandchildren; Ja'Niiya, A'yanna, Kalli, and Kree. Linda dedicated her life to Jehovah and was baptized as one of Jehovah's witnesses in 1973. Her love for Jehovah allowed her to enjoy time in the full-time ministry for 15 years, attended meetings at the kingdom Hall, and Assemblies. She aided many into truth. Linda had a huge heart and loved her family dearly. She enjoyed family dearly and family vacations. She loved dancing, planting flowers, eating Charles chips and drinking Pepsi. Linda was everything to her family and will truly be missed She leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her husband Willie, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sister, brother, sister-in-law's: Maggie & Nancy, brother-in-law Walter, Aunt Estelle, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, many friends, and a large spiritual family.
