Lillie Ruth Johnson's Obituary
Lillie Ruth (Carr) Johnson, was born on January 9, 1923, in Jackson, GA (Butts County). She was the 10th of 16 children born to the late John and Fannie Carr. She departed this life on May 2, 2016. She was united in holy matrimony to the late William Johnson. She gave her life to Christ and served faithfully on the Mothers Board at Springfield Baptist Church where she was a member for many years. In her past time she enjoyed spending time with her family Lillie Ruth leaves to cherish her memory a host of nieces and nephews: Geraldine Lindsey (Sherman), Fannie Anderson, Ernest Woodard, Fannie Grier, Bessie Pines, Johnny Williams, Ola Mae Norris, Dorothy Wise, James Mills and Freddy Mills. She also leaves behind many great nieces and nephews including a special great niece, Linda McMullen, whom she lived with for many years. She also leaves behind a host of great-great nieces and nephews, four of whom she really adored: Antonio (Tony) McKibben, Titears (Mark) McKibben, Erica McMullen and San McMullen (Kemisha). In addition, she leaves many great-great-great nieces, nephews and friends.
