LaTaschia Nicole Crum's Obituary
Earth welcomed LaTaschia Nicole Crum on September 29, 1978. LaTaschia was born to the late Mr. Vigil L. Alston and Mrs. Wanda Crum-Fletcher in Detroit, Michigan to fulfill a purpose for God. She was the oldest of two sisters, and two brothers. When her work here was done, LaTaschia took her exodus on March 20, 2017 to be with the Lord, as an angel of mercy carried her from earth's pain and sorrow to Heaven's joy and eternal reward. LaTaschia's early life's journey began when she relocated to Atlanta, GA at a very young age where she attended secondary schooling and graduated from Pebblebrook High School Class of 1997. She embarked on her career path as an Assistant Manager of Zaxby's; and was last employed as a Certified Area Trainer at Roytec Industries working on her 5th year. Being a "go getter," LaTaschia recently became a certified Tax Preparer, along with pursuing other side jobs. LaTaschia's life of loyalty was to her family. She was a loving, and selfless mother, daughter and sister who generously gave of herself. She was a single mother who devoted her life to her two children, and went above and beyond to take care of and provide for them the best she could. She made sure they had all they needed, participated in events that would help to enhance their development and skills, and engaged in with them as a supportive mother, known as the "cookie mother" for the Girl Scouts; and most importantly she made sure they were reared and actively involved in the things and service of the Lord. Not only was she there for her children, but supportively took the loyal time of helping to take care of her mother during her mother's time of illness. She loved her siblings and was there for them too. Her example of reaching out to others in love taught us that love increases and blesses others by being shared. LaTaschia's life of faith also began at an early age giving her life to the Lord. Upon transitioning through life, in 2014, she along with her children joined Atlanta Christian Worship Center under the Pastorship of Bishop Ronney L. James. She was a committed servant of the Lord, and faithful member. She used her God given talents to sing with the Praise Team, Mass Choir and the Rivers of Life Women's Choir. She willingly participated whenever asked upon on programs and in plays; took the initiative to spearhead church outings and events; helped with the youth department, and a week preceding her death, she accepted the position of being a Greeter, a position that would have fitted her friendly and cheerful character exceptionally well. LaTaschia life as a Woman of God was one passionately known for encouraging others in Christ, leaving a caring and spiritual impact. LaTaschia's life of just being her was that of one who loved to laugh, have fun, kept her hair together, and was a "die-heart Falcon fan." Taschia was full of life and love. To meet her was to love her, and warmly embrace her. She never met a stranger, and could easily join in on a conversation with a welcoming response! Earth has lost a precious gift, LaTaschia Nicole Crum, one who blessed many with her big beautiful smile that would brighten anyone's day! LaTaschia, we couldn't have picked a better mother, daughter, sister, niece, cousin, church member and friend. We will miss you dearly, but look to see you on the other side.
