LaShaunda Lynnette Gavin's Obituary
LaShaunda Lynnette Gavin, 45, died peacefully on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at Rockdale Medical Center in Conyers, GA. She was born on August 16, 1971 in Atlanta, Georgia to Lynn LeRoy Gavin and Gloria (Wiley) Green (deceased). LaShaunda spent her earlier years in Michigan and grew up in Atlanta, Georgia. She graduated from Avondale High School in 1989. LaShaunda worked at Kroger as a Pharmacy Technican for 16 years. She was very loyal to her job, her customers and was very giving and helpful to everyone. She was the nicest and most loving person you would ever know. Altough LaShaunda (aka LaLa) was born in Atlanta, she did not like any of the Atlanta home teams. In fact, when she, her sister and brother would watch sports, LaLa would always root for the opposing team. It made for a very interesting football and basketball season. During the Superbowl this year, when the other team won, LaLa was very excited. LaShaunda was an avid reader, she loved to watch TV, and play video games with her nephew Ethan. It would be nothing for her to be reading two or three books at one time. She was very intelligent and tehcno savvy. Her sister is going to be very lost without her, now it will be time for Ethan to take over. Survivors: Father Lynn Gavin, sister Charlotta Kennedy of Conyers, GA, brother Lynn Gavin of Atlanta, nephew Ethan Gavin, grandmother Pearl Wiley and a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will miss her dearly.
