My beloved husband of 12 years, my soulmate, my forever love.
Lance, you promised me we would be together forever - and even though our forever was not long enough, my heart knows our love continues beyond this life. I was blessed to spend your final nine days on earth with you in our home, watching movies, cooking, laughing, and dreaming about our 2026 move and the life we were still building together. Those days will remain with me always.
On July 21, 2025, you came home to Ohio, and though you left on August 1, just days later on August 18 you left this world, you never left me. At 10:40 p.m., that fateful 18th night- in our last phone call, you prayed for me and asked the angel Seraphim to watch over me. At 11:22 p.m., you were pronounced gone - but not before our final words to each other: "I love you" ... "I love you too."
You were the last voice I heard that night, and I was the last one you called. I will forever hold onto that, as I hold onto you in my heart.
Until we meet again, in the next lifetime, my soulmate.
Forever memories remain.
