Kermit Stanley Elliott's Obituary
Kermit Stanley Elliott (Stan) was born February 23, 1953 in Atlanta, GA to Ms. Mary Elliott Bailey. Stan attended J.P. Carr School in Conyers, GA until integration then attended Rockdale County High School. He was an avid member of the marching band and was apart of a workshop that involved building objects from wood and a member of the student council. Upon graduating, he joined the United States Air Force. After his tour of duty, he gained employment at Biolab, working there for about 5 years. He then transitioned to working for Warren Shear where he worked for 20 plus years as a refrigeration operator until the company downsized. He later worked for Hill Phoenix as a insulation installer where he retired after 7 years of service on his birthday. Stan was called home on March 31, 2017 He preceded in death Mary Ann Elliott Bailey and Celestine Bailey. He leaves to cherish in his memories: One son Gabriel Elliott ( Leslie Elliott); one granddaughter, Aiona Elliott; siblings, Charaletta Swift (Tom Swift), Dexter Elliott, Lois Maddox, and John Elliott (Terri); Aunt and Uncle: Eardell Porter and Calvin Elliott; Elijah Simon, Shirley Elliott, and Addie Elliott; Devoted Loving Companion Jan Daniels; father figure influence in the lives of Monteia Daniels and Rodriguez Daniels; and a host of nieces and nephews and friends.
