Keashawn Shawnae' Washington: April 23,1984 - June 12, 2022
Keashawn Shawnae' Washington, 38, departed this earth on June 12, 2022. Keashawn was a healthy and vibrant 38-year-old mother of three children whom she loved dearly.
Keashawn was born on April 23, 1984, in Galveston, TX to the proud parents of Peggy Ann Burns and Marvin "Ace" Kelley.
Keashawn attended Lithonia High School in Lithonia, GA. She worked for Emory University, Domino's Pizza, and registered her own cleaning business, "It's Spiffy Clean LLC." On July 23, 2009, she gave birth to her son Quintell Walters, Jr. His sister Ziyel Walters was born on February 9, 2011.
Keashawn fully embraced motherhood, sharing her passion for life with her children. Keashawn's motherly commitment was intense, with unwavering determination to nurture her children to be confident, humble, responsible, and to have concern and compassion for others with high morals built on faith. She will be remembered for the love she had for her family, immaculate problem-solving skills, and her entrepreneurial spirit.
Keashawn is preceded in death by her grandfather, Joe Louis Douglas, and cousin Justin Tyrell Douglas. She is survived by her mother Peggy Burns of Covington, GA, brother Riakeem Kelley of Stone Mountain, GA, children Quintell Walters, Jr. and Ziyel Walters, grandmother Mazolia Douglas of Liberty, TX, aunt JoAnn Verner of Conyers, GA, aunt Leola Hardy of Lithonia, GA, uncle Joe Louis Douglas, Jr of Liberty, TX, uncle James Ray Douglas of Liberty, TX, Uncle Donald Ray Douglas of Dayton, TX, and godmother Kathy Elaine Magee of Houston, TX. She was loved by her many cousins: Larry Brooks, Gene Brooks, Sharee Douglas, Louis Douglas, James Douglas Jr., Shunice Hardy, and Juwan Hardy. She is also survived by her longtime friends Latanya Jackson, Wykia Means, Marie Johnson, and Rico Wright. The number of family and friends who were loved by and loved Keashawn is insurmountable.
Keashawn Washington & Baby Jakari Annalisa Bennett Celebration of Life services will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2022, at 12:00PM. These services will be recorded and streamed live.
