Kai McNair's Obituary
Kai Ellis McNair was born November 24, 2010 to Jocelyn McNair and Randall Warner. From the moment he was born we knew he was a special soul. As a baby you could tell he had an inquisitive mind and was a very picky eater. At one point he would only eat oatmeal, hotdogs, chicken nuggets and spaghetti. When he finally got up the courage to try new food, we would be so excited to see his reaction only to get a simple, "it's good," followed by a shoulder shrug.
Kai attended Sims and Oak Hill Elementary where he was known to be kind, giving, and a joy to be around. Some of his favorite subjects were math and science. As a young man growing up in Conyers, Georgia, Kai was a humble, funny, respectful, helpful and compassionate gentleman. He was a great brother to all of his siblings. He had a natural peacefulness that could be felt while in his presence. Even when he didn't get his way he would simply say, "it's ok, maybe next time."
Some of his hobbies were riding his bike, zipping down the sidewalk on his electric scooter, and climbing trees. Sometimes he would climb so high up he would be afraid while coming down, but always seemed to make it back on solid ground. Like most boys his age, he also enjoyed mastering his video game techniques and lets not forget his infamous Nerf wars. When we would take road trips, he liked taking pictures and seeing new things. His first time on a plane he said he was scared at first but after being in the air he liked being able to look over the clouds. He was such a daredevil and would try anything and everything. Kai was so sweet. He loved Coca-Cola, McDonalds and going on adventures. When we would go to Six Flags he always wanted to ride all the big rides and was never scared. If you really knew Kai, you would know he loved to impress you with his vast knowledge and fun facts about history, technology, science, cars, outer space, politics and the list goes on and on. If you dared to question his fun facts, nine times out of ten he would be right, so I hope you didn't bet him any money. That was his secret way of making a little cash.
They say the sky's the limit, but Kai saw past that clear to the moon. With high hopes for his future he envisioned himself following career paths such as, architect, game developer, or engineering. He loved to use his hands. He would wander around the house finding different odds and ends, using them to make what he called his creations.
Kai was very loved and will be missed by everyone who knew him
