John Ellef Johnson's Obituary
John Ellef Johnson was born on Jan 26, 1955 in Princeton, Minnesota to Rueben and Edna Johnson. He passed away June 9, 2016 in Conyers, Georgia at the age of 61 years 4 months, and 14 days. He attended Princeton Public Schools. He was married to Lola Parrish in 1971 and they had one child. They divorced in 1974. He served in the US Marine Corp at Camp Pendleton, CA from November 1974 to November 1977. During this time he obtained his GED. He attended Hennepin County Vo-Tech School and became a Packaging Machine Technician. He worked for 5 years at Monroe Mfg Co., Monroe, GA and 19 years for Kliklok Corp., Decatur. GA. Since retiring he has been repairing small engines and working on remodeling his home. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, taking care of his dogs, and 4 wheeling. He was preceded in death by his parents Reuben and Edna Johnson. He is survived by his brother James (Cheryl) Johnson, Peachtree City, GA; sisters Diane (Adolph) Hamann, Princeton, MN; Pernella (Richard) Erickson, Gainesville, FL and Kathleen (Norbert) Nelson-Luedtke, Las Vegas, NV; a son John (Jen) Cottew and their daughter,Elle, Buffalo, MN; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Graveside and Military Services will be held in September at Glendorado Lutheran Lutheran Church Cemetery, Princeton, MN
