John Edward Davis' Obituary
John Edward Davis was born February 22, 1943 in Nashville, GA to the late Frank and Evelyn Davis Sr.
John received his education at Berrien County School District in Nashville, GA. Upon graduation he moved to Atlanta, GA where he met his beloved wife of 49 years Annie Kate Davis. Accepting Jesus Christ as his personal savior, John became a member of Jacob Tabernacle Holiness Church where he ministered under a long time good friend Elder Eugene Robbins until the church closed in 2004.
John gained employment with Kysor Warren Refrigeration Company of Conyers, GA and was employed there for 30 years until the company closed. John was then employed with DeKalb Tool and Dye of Tucker, GA until he retired February 22, 2017.
On December 25, 2011 Christmas Day John became an active member at Greater Piney Grove Baptist Church where he attended faithfully.
On December 14, 2018 John transitional from this earthly life to be with the Lord.
John is proceeded in death by his parents Frank and Evelyn Davis Sr. and brother Josh Davis
Leaving to cherish his memories a loving, caring and devoted wife Annie Kate Davis; son, Mack Davis of Conyers, GA; daughter, Tisa Davis of Lithonia GA; 2 grandchildren; Pierre Davis of Brooklyn, NY; and Malik Brown of Lithonia GA; 6 brothers; Frank Davis Jr; Johnnie Lee Davis (Mattie) of Alapaha, GA; Nathaniel Davis (Tracy) of Douglas, GA; Larry Davis Sr.(Patricia) of Sparks, GA; Coley Davis of Nashville, GA and Theodis Harris (Linda) of Douglas, GA; 3 sisters; Nelle Williams of Atlanta, GA; Mae Sims (James) of Decatur, GA and Loretta Gaskins (Jack) 2 sister-in-laws; Earlene Jones of Tampa, FL and Arnita Suggs of Atlanta, GA; 1 brother-in-law; Dennis Daniels of Oglethorpe, GA; 1 aunt Martha Collins of Atlanta, GA; The Cooper Family of Waycross, GA, Worcester, NY and Melbourne, FL and a host of other family and friends.......
