Jelisha Ashley Dawson born to parents Ronald and Linda Dawson in West Islip New York on June 20, 1992. She attended S.D. Spady Elementary School located in Delray Beach Florida, Don Estridge Middle School located in Boca Raton Florida. Jelisha and family relocated to Grayson Georgia where she attended Grayson High School located in Loganville.
Her friends gave her the nickname of "Lee Lee" which was quite fitting for her. Jelisha, a member of the Grayson High School Step Team established herself as captain allowing her to express her love and talent for entertaining. As a young adult, she was a mentor to young girls who aspired to learn how to participate in the art of stepping. She was a creative, artistic person who excelled in all she did. She lived life compassionately, quite fierce the "Ray of Sunshine" in any setting. Jelisha's hobbies were enjoying music, photography and dancing. She loved gathering her friends and family together to celebrate life. She was dedicated, a person who worked very hard to achieve success, "she was a finisher"
Jelisha was a loving dedicated mother to Riley Addison Smith. She worked diligently night and day to make sure Riley was giving the BEST of life. She was very adamant when it came to Riley's care. As a family we were proud of her as a mother. Riley was her mother's joy, and through her, Jelisha will live on.
Our beloved Daughter has now become a Guardian Angel to her Mother and Father, Linda and Ronald Dawson, her brothers, Jeril, Julian and Ronald Jr. Her precious daughter, Riley Addison Smith, and her boyfriend, Robert Smith. Her Grandparents Frank and Carolyn Dawson and Barbara Brown. Her Aunts: Lena English, Vanetta English, Maxine Brownlee, Nicole Dawson and Diane Harris. Her Uncles: Frank, Sam, and Kenneth Dawson, Brian Brownlee, Harry English and Stanley Lewis and a Host of Cousins.
