James Henry Lynch's Obituary
James Henry Lynch, affectionately known as "Sonny" passed away on Friday, December 6, 2019 at age 89. James was born on March 30, 1930 in St. Kitts, BWI to the late Mr. Samuel A. Lynch and late Mrs. Priscilla Corbett- Lynch. He was the oldest of 4 children. James received his education in Trinidad, West Indies. He migrated to the United States, where he resided in the Bronx, New York and worked as a mechanic for New York transit.
James was a loving and caring person. He was a devoted husband, father, brother, uncle and friend. He always greeted you with a smile that warmed your heart. James lived a quiet and simple life. To his family and friends, he gave much, and asked for very little in return. He truly enjoyed the comfort of his home and tools. From his education to his career, from his skills with every kind of tools and material imaginable, he could fashion the world with hands.
James is survived by his wife Gwendolyn Lynch; three children from this fist first marriage: Tara Lynch, daughter; two sons: James Lynch Jr. and his fiancé Andrea Alston; Christopher Michael Lynch and wife Nichola Lynch; his step daughter, Vencilla Ejaz and her husband Umer Ejaz; his sister Catherin Allen and Priscilla Lynch; five grandchildren: Dominick Fredrick, Christopher A. Lynch, Israel Boyd, Amani Lynch and Jamaal Ejaz. He also leaves several nieces, nephews, brothers in laws, sisters in laws and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Priscilla, his brother George and his first wife Urania in 2004.
