James Henry Dorsey's Obituary
James (Jackie) H. Dorsey born to the late Frances Benjamin, July 14,1943
Scottsdale Ga. James was preceded by his (brother)Ralph Dorsey
(daughter) Christania Dorsey (mother)Frances Benjamin.
James was educated in the Dekalb County System.
He worked for Dekalb County school district for over 20 years,
and McDonald's as a cook for 10 years and retired.
He joined Traveler's Rest Church in Scottsdale Ga. Served
as a member of the H E Smith Choir. He later moved his membership
to New Birth Missionary Baptist Church, serving in the Male Chorus,
and Usher Board. His final destination was Macedonia Baptist Church,
were he jumped right into God's work and served on the MBC Choir,
and proudly served as a Pastor Aid.
Fishing, Golfing and Horseshoes, was one of Jackie's many hobbies!
He also enjoyed being an Umpire and called the games in Scottsdale.
Jackie leaves behind his longtime companion of 21 years,
Lillie Peters of Covington Ga., where the two resided.

(son) Johnny Roberts Scottsdale Ga. Niece Francine Dorsey,11 grandchildren,
5 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
