A Time to be Born
Horatio Eugene Morris was born on December 24, 1951, in Brooklyn, New York to the late Mr. Eugene and Mrs. Pearl Morris.
A Time to Build
Horatio attended Canarsie High School in Brooklyn, New York and Shaw University in Raleigh, North Carolina. He worked at Long Island Jewish Hospital in New York, New York. He also enjoyed working in the local public schools' system in Brooklyn, New York.
A Time to Plant
Horatio joined and was baptized at pilgrim Baptist church in Brooklyn, New York at an early age. He lived in New York most of his life. He moved to Conyers, Georgia several years ago to live near his loving sister, Mrs. Gladys Godfrey Brown and brother-in-law, Mr. Clement Brown.
A Time to Love
Horatio moved to Georgia to be closer to his only sibling, Mrs. Gladys Brown, and only son, Mr. Brandyne Morris and sweet granddaughter, little Miss Jordyne Morris, who was the joy of his life.
He always displayed genuine love to family and friends, Horatio enjoyed NBA Basketball. The Warriors was his favorite team and Stephen Curry was his all-favorite basketball player
A Time to Die
On Sunday, February 13, 2022, the death angel escorted Horatio to rest in eternal peace. He was preceded in death by his oldest son, Telly Morris, and his late wife, Mrs. Carol Arline Morris.
A Time to Mourn
Horatio left to cherish his life and love are his son, Mr. Brandyne Morris and Granddaughter, Jordyne Morris of Atlanta, Georgia; Sister, Mrs. Gladys (Clement) Brown of Conyers, Georgia: Nephew, Mr. Antonio (Heather) Godfrey and Great Nephews, Trey and Trevor Godfrey of Swansea, Massachusetts, and a host of cousins and friends.
