Hope B Usher's Obituary
Hope B. Usher "H.B." was born April 15,1934 to the late Judge "Coot" and Odie Bell Usher in Henry County. He joined Kelley Chapel Baptist Church at an early age where he helped with church, yard and cemetery maintenance. H.B. was a hard-working man all of his life until he retired. He enjoyed watching sports and was an avid Braves fan. He loved riding horses and motorcycles. More than 50 years ago, he was one of the original founders of the Windjammers Motorcycle Club where he was an active member until his health failed him. In 1956, H.B. and his late wife, Bertha, were united as one. There were seven children born to this union. On July 6, 2024, God called him home to be at peace. H.B. was preceded in death by his wife (Bertha), four brothers and three sisters. H.B. leaves to cherish his memory, his seven children: Jerome Usher, Debbie Thomas (Toney), Larry Usher, Shirley Usher, Elaine Toyer, Michael Usher (Trina), and Terrance Usher; brother: Daniel C. Usher; sister: Catherine Henderson: four sisters-in-law; Geraldine Usher, Kathleen Usher, Catherine Usher, Martha Nolden and a dedicated niece and nephew Tyjuan and Tim Byrd; Twelve grandchildren; Sixteen great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
